Trios Scanner
A Trios Scanner allows us to bypass traditional molding techniques through advanced technology.
Trios Scanners are handheld devices that provide 3D scans, or digital impressions, of your teeth. Following a scan, patients and dentists can view the impressions on a screen. These scans help us provide the most accurate fit when working with restorative dental treatments. Additionally, working with a Trios Scanner is more comfortable for patients than traditional molding techniques.
CBCT Scanner
CBCT Scanners give dentists a better idea of your dental health, specifically when it comes to nerves, soft tissues and bone structure.
CBCT is short for 3D cone beam computed tomography, and can capture up to 200 images while moving around a patient’s head. The images the machine takes are then aggregated to create a 3D scan of your teeth. We may recommend a CBCT scan if we are discussing the possibility of dental implants as part of your treatment.
